Tibetan Baicao tea was very effective when I used it before. If you go to their website, the authorized retail stores are all located in CA, NY or Toronto Canada. So it was very inconvenient for me to go to these places. Then, i found it on Amazon, I thought why not give it a try.
First the box looks like the authentic one. It has the 3M security label at the bottom with laser printed leaf on it. However this tea doesn’t taste like the real one, at least maybe not what it used to be. The authentic Baicao Tea (or the one I had before) is supposed to be very bitter.
This thing is still effective? Yes, to some extent, but much less than the ones I had before. How is that? Well, when some people make the fake one, maybe they simply buy the authentic one and divide one bag into multiple bags. To fill up the bag to the same amount, they may be simply add some cheap which has no harm on people. So for people who have never used the authentic ones, they would think this is good and effective. But trust me, if you had the authentic one you would know what is real “effective”.
Later I found another website (https://www.tibetanbuy.com) who sells Baicaotea. They had few variations. So I bought a box of each (Tibetan Baicaotea Old version and Tibetan Baicaotea with Security Label). Well it was same as the one I bought from amazon.
After referring the Tibetan Baicaotea website (www.baicaotea.com) I finally found their online store (www.baicaotea.store). Finally I was able to buy the authentic one online which saved me from a lot of headaches. Thanks for ATHI for creating an online store.
In conclusion, the Tibetan Baicao Tea from Amazon store and the website www.tibetanbuy.com is packaged differently from the one sold in the authentic store(www.baicaotea.store). , and it is less effective comparing to the authentic one.
However, I would suggest customers to buy Tibetan Baicao Tea from the authorized retail stores, as listed on the official website http://www.baicaotea.com/address.html. or from the official online store (www.baicaotea.store).
